Have you ever seen a “6-foot, 8-inch Englishman” roll a perfect cannabis joint in exactly 17 seconds?
At Joint Wars 007, the MJBizCon kickofff party scheduled for Dec. 2 at NuWu Cannabis Marketplace in Las Vegas, you will have that opportunity.
Hefestus House of Automation and Joint Wars are teaming up to host MJBizCon’s kickoff party at NuWu Cannabis Marketplace Las Vegas.
The highlight of the evening is Joint Wars 007, a head-to-head joint-rolling competition dubbed the Olympics of joint rolling.
Festivities begin at 7 p.m. Dec. 2.
What is Joint Wars, the new MJBizCon opening party?
Created by Gary Adler, a veteran in branding high-profile intellectual property for film and TV, Joint Wars has grown from a garage experiment to a celebrated event in the cannabis community.
“The idea is not to bring cannabis to mainstream industries but to bring what works in the mainstream into the cannabis industry,” Adler said.
“Our goal is to find the fastest and most accurate rollers on the planet, promote brand partners, create great content and have fun while doing it.”
“I challenge the competitors to roll a joint that looks exactly like the Hefestus pre-roll.”

With five successful competitions under its belt, including appearances at the California Cannabis Awards and the California State Fair, Joint Wars is now the centerpiece of MJBizCon’s kickoff celebration.
Joint Wars pits the fastest and most precise joint rollers against each other in a timed, high-energy showdown.
Ten amateur rollers will take the stage at NuWu for the preliminary rounds, with the best advancing to face professional champions in the semifinals for a shot at the grand prize of the Joint Wars Championship Belt.
Reigning pro champion Mika Cook, the 5-foot, 2-inch Humboldt Hippie, takes on amateur champion Joey Muffins, a 6-foot, 8-inch Englishman.
Both can roll a perfect joint in 17 seconds.
Hefestus rolling machines scale hand-crafted quality
While Hefestus is known for automating rolling, CEO Shahar Yamay said the company loves the energy of competition.
“Our roots are in big automation, but our mission has always been hand-crafted quality at scale,” Yamay said.
In addition to the Championship Belt, winners will take home premium flower, a Joint Wars rolling tray and a lifetime supply of rolling papers.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to compete, email jointwarstv@gmail.com to register and roll against the best.
