It takes an engaged electorate to change marijuana laws. Have you taken action?

In recent weeks, we’ve witnessed significant legislative progress in key states. In Virginia, we’ve shepherded 10 marijuana-related bills to the governor’s desk — including legislation legalizing adult-use cannabis sales, protecting parental rights, and allowing for resentencing. In Georgia and Mississippi, significantly expanded access to medical cannabis is just a signature away from becoming law. In Maryland, NORML testified in support of legislation to end workplace discrimination for firefighters who consume medical cannabis in their off-hours. In South Dakota, we defeated efforts to repeal the state’s voter-initiated medical cannabis program.

Here are two quick actions you can take to amplify our efforts across the US:

STEP 1: Send a message to your lawmakers now. NORML is currently tracking over 100 cannabis-related bills in our Take Action Center. With only a few easy clicks you can make your voice heard.

STEP 2: Chip in now so that we can continue to ensure that cannabis consumers’ voices are represented and their rights are protected.

Every day, our lawmakers hear from special interests with deep pockets, including prohibitionist groups, law enforcement, and even big alcohol. NORML makes sure they hear from you, too.

NORML is the only nationwide advocacy group solely representing the interests of cannabis consumers. We rely on the grassroots support of people like you. By making a one-time contribution to NORML or by becoming a sustaining monthly donor, you are helping to mobilize our efforts and end cannabis criminalization in America. Take action today so that we can ensure a brighter future for cannabis consumers tomorrow.
